Girder gate structure is simple, light weight, small lifting force, convenient handling, but because the water between the gate and the gate depends on the weight of the seal, the integrity of the water retaining structure is poor, the water level sealing is poor, the leakage is slightly greater than the steel gate, so the girder steel gate is suitable for temporary water retaining or maintenance gate.
疊梁閘門(mén)結(jié)構(gòu)簡(jiǎn)單，自重輕、起吊力小，搬運(yùn)方便，但由于閘板與閘板之間止水靠自重而達(dá)到密封的作用，擋水結(jié)構(gòu)的整體性差，靠水位密封差，滲漏量略大于鋼制閘門(mén)，所以疊梁鋼閘門(mén)適用于作臨時(shí)擋水或檢修閘門(mén)之用。

There are two kinds of laminated beam gate: ordinary type and laminated beam gate with preload device.
疊梁閘門(mén)分普通型和帶預(yù)緊裝置的疊梁閘兩種。

The laminated beam gate with a pre-tightening device is provided with a slipway on the door groove, and the single gate plate is lowered along the slipway, so as to prevent the dislocation between the front and back of the single laminated beam.
帶預(yù)緊裝置的疊梁閘門(mén)，在門(mén)槽上設(shè)一滑道，單塊閘板均順滑道下放，從而防止單根疊梁間的前后左右的錯(cuò)位。

In order to improve the sealing effect, a set of preloading devices are installed on each upstream side of the gate to make the beam close to the door groove. The practice proves that the gate with preloading device has significantly less water leakage than the common type of gate.
又在疊梁閘  門(mén)上游兩側(cè)，各設(shè)一套使疊梁與門(mén)槽互相密貼的預(yù)緊裝置，提高封水效果，實(shí)踐證明帶預(yù)緊裝置的疊梁閘門(mén)比普通型疊梁閥漏水量顯著減少。
